How to Make Shahi Paneer at Home: Step-by-Step Guide for Beginners

• Ingredients of Recipe
- 250 gm of Paneer Cube
- 12-15 cashew soaked in warm water
- 3 medium size chopped onion
- 4-5 clove minced garlic
- 1 inch grated ginger
- 2 green chili
- ½ cup fresh cream
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoon butter or ghee
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seed
- 1 small piece cinnamon stick
- 2 green cardamom
- 3-4 cloves
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salte to Taste
- 1 tsp crushed kasturi methi (fenugreek leave)

• Instruction of Recipe
Step 1: Prepare Cashew Paste
- Soak cashew in warm water for 15 minutes.
- Blend cashew to smooth paste using little water.
Step 2: Cook Base
- Heat oil and butter in pan.
- Add cumin seed, cinnamon, cardamom and clove and saute.
Step 3: Saute Onion and Tomato
- Add onion and saute.
- Add ginger, garlic and green chili for 2 minute.
- Add chopped tomato and cook until smooth and oil seprate.
Step 4: Add Spice and Cashew Paste
- Add turmeric powder, red chili, coriander powder and salt, mix all.
- Mix cashew paste and cook 2-3 minute until mixture become smooth.
Step 5: Blend Gravy
- Cool mixture slightly and blend until smooth using blender. Return in to pan.
Step 6: Simmer Gravy
- Add milk and cream, mix continuously for avoid curdling.
- Simmer 5 minutes on low heat.
Step 7: Cook Paneer
- Add paneer cube in gravy. Mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Step 8: Increase Flavor
- Add garam masala, add crushed kasturi methi, mix all.
Step 9: Garnish and Serve
- Garnish shahi paneer with coriander leave. Serve hot and enjoy with roti, naan or rice.
