Paneer Butter Masala

• Ingredient of Recipe


- 250 g Paneer Cube 

- 3 tablespoon butter 

- 4 tomato pured 

- 10-12 soaked and blended cashew 

- 3 tablespoon cream 

- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste 

- 1-2 green chili 

- 1 large size chopped onion 

- 1 tsp garam masala 

- 1 tsp red chili powder 

- ¼ tsp turmeric powder 

- 1 tsp coriander powder 

- 1 tsp kasuri methi 

- 1 tsp sugar 

- Salte to Taste 

- 1 cup water 

- Fresh coriander leave 


• Instruction of Recipe 


Step 1: Prepare Ingredient 

- Soak cashew in warm water for 10 minute and blend into smooth paste.

- Puree tomato in blender and set side.


Step 2: Saute onion

- Heat 2 tablespoon butter in pan on medium heat.

- Add chopped onion and saute.


Step 3: Cook Base 

- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chili and saute for minute.

- Mix in tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder.

- Cook until oil separates from mixture.


Step 4: Add Cashew Paste and Spice 

- Mix cashew paste and cook for 2-3 minute.

- Add 1 cup water and simmer for 5 minute.


Step 5: Add Paneer 

- Add garam masala, kasuri methi and sugar. Mix all well.

- Gently add paneer cube and cook 2-3 minute.

- Mix fresh cream and turn off heat.


Step 6: Garnish and Enjoy 

- Garnish using fresh coriander and serve hot with roti, naan or rice.
